Contact UsDo I need planning permission for a dormer?
Often a dormer can be built under permitted development but this depends on property type, conservation area/listing status and size. We assess this at survey stage and handle planning applications where required.
How long does a dormer conversion take?
Typical build time is several weeks to a few months, depending on complexity and approvals. We give a project timeline at estimate stage and stick to it.
How disruptive is the build?
There will be noisy phases (roof works / structural), but we manage deliveries, protect your home and keep disruption to a minimum with a site manager on every job.
Can I add an en-suite and storage?
Yes — we design for plumbing and waste routes and build bespoke wardrobes to maximise space.
What about insulation and energy performance?
Conversions meet current building regs for thermal performance; we use modern insulation and efficient glazing to keep running costs low.
